Excellent Product!

If you do your research, you will find that the most effective formulation of topical GHK-cu is a 3% solution blended with Hyaluronic Acid. Most products you will find online fall far short of that. The products that do have that formulation are ridiculously priced and most have unnecessary ingredients in them. I have been using this product for 3 months and absolutely love it. It is a very light solution that goes on easily and is readily absorbed. I highly recommend this product!

Description

THE POWER OF COPPER PEPTIDES (GHK-cu)

Copper peptides (GHK-CU) are naturally occurring proteins in the body that are released to aid in tissue repair with cell-protective and cell-repairing properties.

A number of clinical studies established that GHK-CU stimulates the synthesis of collagen, the production of selected glycosaminoglycans (like hyaluronic acid), and modulates matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs).[0]

This regulation helps prevent both buildup of damaged proteins and excessive proteolysis (protein breakdown). All of this leads to skin regeneration and improved appearance of the skin.

GHK-Cu, or copper peptides, is a popular ingredient in skincare products, particularly serums. Here are some potential benefits associated with GHK-Cu serum:

  1. Collagen Production: GHK-Cu is believed to stimulate the production of collagen, a protein that helps maintain the skin’s structure and firmness. Increased collagen production may contribute to smoother and more youthful-looking skin.
  2. Wound Healing: Copper peptides are thought to have wound-healing properties. They may aid in the repair of damaged skin and help reduce the appearance of scars.
  3. Anti-Inflammatory: GHK-Cu has demonstrated anti-inflammatory effects, which can be beneficial for individuals with inflammatory skin conditions or redness.
  4. Antioxidant Properties: Copper peptides exhibit antioxidant properties, helping to neutralize free radicals that can contribute to premature aging and skin damage.
  5. Copper Regulation: Copper is an essential mineral for various physiological functions, including skin health. GHK-Cu may help regulate copper levels in the skin, promoting optimal functioning.
  6. Skin Tightening: Some users report a perceived tightening or lifting effect when using GHK-Cu serum, contributing to a more toned appearance.
  7. Improved Skin Elasticity: By promoting collagen synthesis, GHK-Cu may enhance skin elasticity, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
  8. Hydration: The peptide may aid in maintaining skin moisture levels, helping to combat dryness and promoting a more supple complexion.
  9. Reduction of Pigmentation: GHK-Cu has been suggested to have a role in regulating pigmentation, potentially leading to a more even skin tone and reduction of dark spots.
  10. Overall Skin Health: Users often report improvements in the overall health and radiance of their skin with the regular use of GHK-Cu serum.

It’s important to note that while GHK-Cu has shown promise in various studies and anecdotal reports, individual responses to skincare products can vary. Before incorporating any new product into your skincare routine, it’s advisable to perform a patch test and, if necessary, consult with a dermatologist to ensure compatibility with your skin type.

GHK Studies

The human copper-binding peptide GHK-Cu (glycyl-l-histidyl-l-lysine) is a small, naturally occurring tri-peptide present in human plasma that can also be released from tissues in case of an injury. Since its discovery in 1973, GHK-Cu established itself as a powerful protective and regenerative ingredient, which is currently widely used in skin and hair products [0].

Up-to-date, it is established that GHK-Cu is able to:

  • Tighten loose skin and reverse thinning of aged skin
  • Repair protective skin barrier proteins
  • Improve skin firmness, elasticity, and clarity
  • Reduce fine lines, depth of wrinkles, and improve structure of aged skin
  • Smooth rough skin
  • Reduce photodamage, mottled hyperpigmentation, skin spots and lesions
  • Improve overall skin appearance
  • Stimulate wound healing
  • Protect skin cells from UV radiation
  • Reduce inflammation and free radical damage
  • Increase hair growth and thickness, enlarge hair follicle size [0].
